The SWARM by Sworming Hornet Lures is an umbrella type rig very similar to those used in striper and saltwater fishing yet light weight enough to cast on most standard rods. The SWARM uses our very own patented fish head design combined with 5 wires protruding out the back ready with quick release snaps to fish 5 baits at a time. The lifelike pattern SWARM looks like a small school of baitfish moving through the water.
The SWARM works best with four wires spread to form a box leaving 1 wire in the center. Rig four 1/8oz jigs on the outer wires and a 3/16 to ½ oz jig in the center. We suggest using the Sworming Hornet Fish Head Spin, or slingblade flutter tipped with your favorite trailer to mimic the bait fish in the area. We recommend using a Sworming Hornet 7’ medium heavy rod with high speed casting reel and 80 to 100 pound BRAIDED line. These are only recommendations…. Get creative, just remember, no fish can resist a SWARM.
